I'm currently watching the UK version of Rocky Horror Picture Show. I hadn't realized there'd been a UK version. I will most likely be unable to see any difference between the US and UK versions. I just know that these teeth are freaking me out. I have a weird teeth thing. Even Ackles' slightly inward tilted teeth occasionally give me the heebies. It's my own psychosis, ok? I'm learning to adapt.

I'm trying to write an RPF story loosely based on Carnivale. It's got similar characters, but the underlying story isn't about good vs. evil like the show was. Right now it's all over the place, with series of vignettes taking place, but the thread to tie it together hasn't quite got there, yet. I know what it should be, but it's just not gelling right now. I'll have to see where it goes.

I'm watching Bottle Shock w/ Alan Rickman, Chris Pine, Bill Pullman, & Eliza Dushku. I highly recommend it if you haven't seen it.

"The story of the early days of California wine making featuring the now infamous, blind Paris wine tasting of 1976 that has come to be known as "Judgment of Paris"."

I second that. Bottle Shock's an amazing movie.

I thought I was the only one to ever notice that?! Then I thought I was crazy! You can't always see it, but yeah, they sort of tilt inward instead of completely straight down. He's still got a great smile, but that annoyed the crap out of me because I wasn't sure if I was imagining it or not!

I pointed it out to my friend and she's said I've ruined his smile for her. She can now see it, too. It's almost like the bottom part of his top teeth are less wide then then upper part, which adds to the illusion. It's slight, but I can see it, like Haley Joel and dead people.

WHY DOES THIS BOTHER ME? It's like a weird tooth phobia.

Haha, everybody's watching the Rocky Horror Picture Show today.
Wait - there's a UK version?? Is it any good?

Your story sounds very interesting!

According to my DVD, I can watch the US or UK version. I didn't notice any difference (it's been a while since I've seen any version), but I'm thinking maybe the US addded fig leaves to the statues so we didn't see their no-no places. I'll need to check it out to compare.

You have to post an update later and tell us the differences! I didn't know there was a UK version, either. Watching that movie at home alone is not nearly as much fun as watching in a theater with a lot of people who know the lines and when to throw things and shoot water pistols and break out the umbrellas :)

The US version is running on a constant loop on FOXMO today, but I have yet to see any differences. I'm waiting for the statues scene to see if my guess is correct.

I went to a couple of Rocky Horror shows in theatre. The first one was good, the second not so much.

Ok, just saw a statue and not a fig leaf in sight. What is the difference in these versions?!

The UK version has the full song at the end after the house takes off, that's the only difference.
